The ongoing track of Rupali Ganguly-Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa revolves around Kinjal’s baby shower. Anupama welcomes Rakhi Dave for baby shower function while Baa gets into a argument with her. Anu urges them to make the day memorable for Kinjal by not arguing with each other. Rakhi Dave then taunts Baa about Vanraj not attending the baby shower and asks whether Anuj will be taking over Vanraj’s place as grand father of Kinjal’s baby.
However, Anuj denies it and gives a befitting reply to Rakhi saying he can never take Vanraj’s place. Baa feels elated hearing this. Later, Anu gets tensed thinking about how will she handle Baa, Rakhi, and Barkha under the same roof as they keeps taunting each other.
Further, Kapadia family arrives and Baa tells Anupama that she will welcome her in-laws. Baa greets everyone and taunts Barkha about wearing a saree and not a backless dress. Then, Baa stops them from entering the house and asks them to remove their sandals as its not allowed inside the house. As they enters the house, Barkha taunts that house is very small leaving Baa irked.

Anu then introduces Rakhi to Barkha and they both smirks as they shakes hands. In the upcoming episode we will see Anu and others dancing and celebrating the rituals of baby shower. Meanwhile, Rakhi videocalls Vanraj and he congratulates Kinjal-Toshu and gets emotional seeing them. He feels sad for not being there for an important function.
Further, Rakhi instigates Vanraj saying he got replaced by Anuj. She says Anuj is performing the rituals of Kinjal’s child as his grandfather. Hearing this, Vanraj gets angry while Leela gets scared seeing his anger & tries to stop Rakhi from instigating.
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte. The show also stars actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra.
