Star Plus show Imlie starring Fahmaan Khan–Sumbul Touqeer has been heading towards 5 years leap, as reported earlier. The current track of the show revolves around Imlie who learns how badly Malini treats her daughter and wants to send her own baby to orphanage. Aryan is helping Imlee to prove that Malini is bad mother but somewhere he’s worried as Imlie again losing herself for others. And now, the channel has shared the new promo showing the glimpse of upcoming twist in Aryan-Imlie life and entry of new character Cheeni (Keva Shefali) post leap.
The promo shows a group of people who took over a school premise & scares villagers by spreading rumours about ghost so that they can sell the school land and earn money. Imlie record the video of them to expose their conspiracy on television. Further, we sees camera person Cheeni who’s partner in crime of Imlie post leap. Cheeni is Malini’s daughter Gudiya and she’s just like Imlie. She helps Imli in exposing bad people who spreads rumours about ghost in village.

It was already reported that Imlie lose her own baby as she was more concerned about Malini-Aditya’s baby. This creates a major rift between Aryan-Imlee and they will part ways. Post leap, Imlie will live in Pagdandiya with Malini’s daughter. She will work as a small-time reporter in a local news channel.
It will be interesting to watch how Aryan-Imlie will come together again.
