Diljit Dosanjh expresses shock on Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise; Recalls the time when he spoke to the late actor on video call via Shehnaaz Gill

Punjabi & Bollywood singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh expresses shock on popular ITV star Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise at the age of 40. The Bigg Boss 13 winner passed away due to a cardiac arrest on Thursday morning. His untimely death has left his family, fans, friends, and media shattered. After Sidharth’s cremation on September 3, Diljit took his social media and remembered the time when he spoke to the late actor through Shehnaaz Gill.

Diljit shared a picture of Sid & tweeted in Punjabi, “1 Vaari Video Call Te Gal Karai c Shenaaz Ne.. Baut hee Hasmukh c Veera..Kehnda c mileyo Jadon Mumbai aeye.. Shocking (Shehnaaz once made me talk to him on a video call. What a happy go lucky person he was. He asked me to meet him whenever I am in Mumbai).“

For the unversed, Shehnaaz Gill will soon be seen opposite Diljit Dosanjh in upcoming Punjabi film ‘Honsla Rakh‘. The film is scheduled to release on October 2021.

Many celebrities from the television and film industry have expressed their shock on Sidharth’s untimely demise and offered condolences to his family and loved ones.

Sidharth Shukla was one of the most loved personality of Indian television industry. The handsome hunk gained immense popularity with his stint in controversial show Bigg Boss 13. He made his acting debut with the Hindi TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008. He was best known for portraying the role of ‘Shiv’ in Colors TV popular show Balika Vadhu & ‘Parth’ in Dil Se Dil Tak. He has been a winner of India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He also hosted shows like Savdhaan India & India’s Got Talent season 6, 7.

Sidharth’s last public appearance was on Karan Johar hosted show Bigg Boss OTT & Colors’ dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 with Shehnaaz Gill. His last body of work was the web series – Broken But Beautiful 3. His one music video ‘Habit’ with Shehnaaz Gill is still pending which was shot in Goa.
