Model-actor Sahil Shroff is the first contestant to get evicted from the controversial reality show Bigg Boss 15. On Sunday Weekend Ka Vaar episode, host Salman Khan revealed that Sahil is eliminated from the house due to the less votes from audience. His eviction left housemates sad, who were seen getting emotional while bidding him goodbye.
After Salman took his name, Sahil Shroff said he is not meant for the show. The actor wished good luck to all the housemates and asked them to play well.
Sahil Shroff has worked in films like Don 2, Shaadi Ke Side Effects and Dear Maya among others. In an interview with Zoom, the actor revealed why he said yes to the popular reality show BB15. He was quoted saying, “To be honest. I’ve always been very private. I’ve let my work do the talking and I’m not a big social media person, I don’t really talk about myself. So I thought it’s time to come out of my shell, it’s not a shell it’s when you’re involved in so you want to stay within that. I thought that it’s about time that we have to deal with the reality of the situation and the timing for this was perfect for me. Because I’m okay with everything now within myself and I’m even okay to expose it – whether for good or for bad. But the challenge is to see what the show is going to do to me externally and internally.”
The contestants who have participated in the controversial show this year are Simba Nagpal, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Pratik Sehajpal, Nishant Bhat, Shamita Shetty, Umar Riaz, Vidhi Pandya, Donal Bisht, Vishal Kotian, Afsana Khan, Akasa Singh, Jay Bhanushali, Miesha Iyer, Sahil Shroff and Ieshaan Sehgal.
