Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal was recently asked to appear before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) after his name came in a drugs case which is linked to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death.
Earlier also, Arjun was summoned by NCB after the agency raided his residence and reportedly found a banned drug at his house. And now, he was again summoned by the Narcotics Control Bureau for questioning and was asked to appear before the agency today, on December 16, 2020. However, the actor has failed to appear before agency, and seeks time.
As per latest reports in India Forums, Arjun has sought time till 21st December, to appear before Narcotics Control Bureau.
The drug angle in Bollywood came into light after the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. SSR‘s Gf Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik was even arrested by NCB in drug case. They both are currently out on bail. After Rhea‘s arrest, Many B-town celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Shraddha Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and more was summoned by the agency in drug case.
Recently, comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa was also arrested by NCB in drug case, later the two was granted bail.
