Actor Paras Kalnawat, who plays the role of Samar in Star Plus popular show Anupamaa, ousted from the show due to a breach of contract. Reportedly, Paras signed celebrity dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 10 after which the producers of Anupamaa terminated his contract. And as per latest reports, the makers has approached new actor to play ‘Samar’ in Anupamaa and he is Suvansh Dhar.
Reportedly, actor Suvansh Dhar is roped in to play new ‘Samar‘ in Star Plus’ Anupamaa. He could be the new Samar, however, there’s no confirmation from actor or makers side. Suvansh was also seen in the Sony TV show, Appnapan: Badalte Rishton Ka Bandhan.
Rupaly Ganguly strrrer Anupamaa is number one show on television with high BARC TRPs rating since long time. Actor Paras Kalnawat won’t be a part of the show any longer after the contract was terminated.

Talking about his exit from Anupamaa, Paras Kalnawat told indianexpress.com that he chose Jhalak over the number one show for his growth. The actor said, “Everything is great with Anupamaa but I did not see my character evolving. I have huge respect for Rajan sir and the team and wish them all the best. At this stage of my career, I wanted to take up a new challenge. Also, I must add that I did inform the production about my decision, however, due to the channel and contract clauses, it wouldn’t have been possible for me to continue with Anupamaa after signing Jhalak.”
Anupamaa, produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte. The show stars Gaurav Khanna, Sudhanshu Pandey, Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra. Muskan Bamne, Shekhar Shukla, Nidhi Shah, Anagha Bhosale and Tassnim Sheikh.
