Star Plus popular show Anupamaa is one of the most adored show on television right now. It is ruling the TRPs charts with high ratings since start. The show stars Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey in pivotal roles. The current track of the show revolves arounds Anuj-Anupama’s wedding preparations while Baa is against MaAn’s marriage and constantly cursing them.
After Babuji, Samar, Kinjal, Pakhi and now Toshu have come out in support of Anuj-Anupamaa’s marriage. Kinjal is pregnant with her first child and Anupama will soon become a grandmother. Hence, Leela is tensed about how society will react on learning that a grandmother marrying again. This track has received mixed reactions from the audience, while some have accepted MaAn’s marriage, a section of people is against Anupama remarrying at this age.

In an interaction with SpotboyE, Sudhanshu Pandey Aka Vanraj Shah shared his views on Rupali Ganguly’s character Anupama getting married in the show. He quoted saying, “I feel it’s a very personal choice. A woman like Anupama what she is doing is her own choice. She was wronged by her husband and felt cheated at some point. There must be a section of people who do not like it and are not happy with Anupama getting married again at this age.”
He added, “A lot of people would feel that way because they are not able to relate to this. But, the idea is to give the audience a perspective that women can understand that she has a choice, she can take a call for her life and can make her own decision.”
The show produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Productions. The show is based on Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Sreemoyee. There’s also a Marathi version of the show which runs on Star Pravah titled Aai Kuthe Kai Karte. The show also stars actors like Aneri Vajani, Madalsa Sharma, Alpana Buch, Arvind Vaidya, Paras Kalnawat, Aashish Mehrotra. Muskan Bamne, Shekhar Shukla, Nidhi Shah, Anagha Bhosale and Tassnim Sheikh.
