Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018, and has now been admitted to Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai on Wednesday. Rishi Kapoor‘s elder brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed the news.
Confirming this news to News 18, Rishi Kapoor‘s elder brother Randhir Kapoor told News 18, “It’s true that he has been admitted to the hospital. He is in Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital. He was not keeping well and had some breathing problem, so we admitted him early this morning”.
When he was further asked if there is an emergency, Randhir clarified and said, “that’s why he has gone to the hospital. But I know that he will be alright. Neetu (Kapoor) is by his side.”
According to reports, the actor has been admitted in the hospital for four weeks now after complaining that he was not feeling well.
Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and underwent a marrow treatment. After almost a year-long cancer treatment in New York. The actor had returned to India in September last year, fully recovered. Throughout his treatment, his wife Neetu Kapoor stood by his side.
The actor was last seen in film The Body along with actor Emraan Hashmi, Shobhita Dhulipala and Vedhika. Rishi Kapoor recently announced his upcoming project, a remake of Hollywood film ‘The Intern‘, in which he will feature with Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
