Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill is one of the most loved celebrity on Indian television. She enjoys immense popularity after her stint in the reality show. Her bonding with co-contestant Sidharth Shukla was one of the major highlight of the show. Fans loved their equation a lot in the show and fondly calls them #Sidnaaz. Even after the reality show, Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth remained close to each other and it was a huge shock for the entire nation when Sidharth Shukla passed away suddenly last year.
Shehnaaz was devastated with the sudden passing of the late actor but she picked herself up from this pain. After few months of Sidharth Shukla’s passing, Shehnaaz Gill released a song titled ‘Tu Yaheen Hai‘ dedicated to Sidharth. While many people were touched by Shehnaaz’s tribute for the late actor, there were some who judged her for that as well.
In a recent conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Shehnaaz opened up about being judged for tribute song on Sidharth Shukla. The actress said, “Nahi, kyunki logo ko story pata hi nahi hai kuch, to log kaise mujhe bol sakte hain. See, kya hota hai na, kisi bande ki tum bahut zyada respect karte ho, to mujhe kaam start karna tha dobara se apna, comeback karna tha.”

She adds, “To, abhi tum jiski sabse zyada respect karte ho, agar tum uske liye kuch nahi karoge pehle, khud ke mann mein na, tumhara kaam kaise start hoga? To pehle respect and then start your work. To wo tha, aur kuch nahi. So, it’s okay. Jinko nahi pata, hum kyun dukh manayein us cheez ka. Logon ko pata hi nahi, theek hai, inko knowledge jitni hai utni hi rehne do unke paas. Zyada dene ka nahi inko.”
On work front, Shehnaaz Gill last seen in Punjabi film Honsla Rakh alongside co-star Diljit Dosanjh, Sonam Bajwa. The actress will soon make her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan starrer film Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, which is now titled Bhaijaan. Bhaijaan stars Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde in main leads. Reportedly, Shehnaaz starred opposite singer-actor Jassie Gill in the film. Directed by Farhad Samji and the film all set to release in December this year.
