On 6 February 2022, Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away after reportedly suffering from multiple organ failure. Lata ji was hospitalized in January and had been recovering and responding to the treatments. However, due to the post COVID complications, she suffered from multiple organ failure. Since yesterday, Condolences and prayers have been pouring in for the Nightingale of India. Now, ITV actress Tejasswi Prakash mourned the demise of Lata Mangeshkar.
The Bigg Boss 15 winner took to her Twitter handle to bid adieu to the melody queen Lataji. Tejasswi tweeted, “Forever… Long Live your Legacy Lata Ji #RIPLataMangeshkar#LataMangeshkar#LataDidi.”

After her demise, Dr Pratit Samdani, who was treating the singer at Breach Candy Hospital, issued a statement. “It is with profound grief that we announce the sad demise of #LataMangeshkar at 8.12 am. She has died because of multi-organ failure after more than 28 days of hospitalisation post #COVID19,” Dr Pratit informed as quoted by news agency PTI.
