Pranali Rathod on her journey in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai; “YRKKH has been the biggest turning point of my life, all I wanted to do is to give my best”

Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is longest-running show on TV right now. The third generation of YRKKH stars Harshad Chopda and Pranali Rathod in lead as Abhimanyu and Akshara. The duo is winning viewers hearts with their adorable chemistry on the show. Akshara and Abhimanyu is currently one of the most loved onscreen characters.

In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Pranali Rathod spoke about her character Akshara and her journey on Yeh

Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Revealing one quality that she really admire about Akshara, the actress said, “I love Akshara’s character in general, I can’t point out one quality. She is an amazing character, it is a tough one to portray. When I heard about the character I was in love with her. She has that spark in her, she wants to become something in life, she wants to keep everyone happy. She herself is a chirpy person. Akshara itself is my favourite.”

Talking about her bond with Mayank Aka Kairav in the show, Pranali said, “It’s exactly the same, but offscreen, we do a lot of masti on set. But he is like an elder brother to me.”

When she was asked if she considers Yeh Rishta as the biggest turning point of her journey. Pranali said, “Yes, ofcourse. Yeh Rishta has been the biggest turning point of my life. I had begun with zero expectations, all I wanted to do is to give my best. This place has made me extremely happy and brought the best out of me. And ofcourse with Yeh Rishta, I got my first award too.”

Talking about the toughest emotion that as an actor she has to portray in front of the audience, she said, “Heartbreak is the toughest emotion to portray onscreen. It holds a lot of emotions in, has anger, pain, sacrifice, disappointment and you have to portray them all so I find it the toughest.”

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai produced by Rajan Shahi under Director’s Kut Production. The show also features actors like Karishma Sawant, Mayank Arora, Sharan Anandani, Ami Trivedi, Ashish Nayyar, Paras Priyadarshan.
