Bigg Boss 13‘s runner up Asim Riaz‘s brother Umar Riaz has participated in Salman Khan‘s controversial show Bigg Boss 15 this year. The doctor-turned actor has entered the controversial house yesterday on premiere night. Before entering the Bigg Boss 15 house, Umar Riaz spoke about Late actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla in an interview with a leading portal. He said that he was shocked after learning about Sidharth’s sudden death and stated that wish he could have met him after Bigg Boss 13.
Umar told Etimes TV, “Sidharth Shukla was such a nice guy, a gentleman. Bigg Boss 13 was so successful because of Sidharth and Asim. I was very shocked when I heard the news because he has been an inspiration for so many people. He was such a strong and fit person and it was hard to believe. I would like to just pray for his soul and his family so that they get strength to cope up with this loss.”
Talking about his last meeting with Sidharth, Umar shared that the Bigg Boss 13 winner was a lovely guy and never felt small in apologizing for his mistake. He said, “The last time I met him was on the sets of Bigg Boss 13 and after that I couldn’t meet him because of the pandemic. I wish I had met him before he went like this. But this is life so unpredictable. When I met him during Bigg Boss 13, he had told me I hope you have received my apology. He was a person, who felt that if you have done a mistake you should apologise. He never felt ki sorry bolne se main chota ho jaaunga. He was a lovely guy.”
Sidharth Shukla‘s last rites was done at the Oshiwara crematorium on September 3. The actor is survived by his mother and two sisters. His last public appearance was on Karan Johar hosted show Bigg Boss OTT & Colors’ dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 with close friend Shehnaaz Gill. Sid’s last project was the web series – Broken But Beautiful 3.
