Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani: Debattama Saha reveals her reaction on the news of show going off-air; “I didn’t lose hope till the last day, I was hoping for a miracle”

TV actress Debattama Saha, who is currently seen in Star Plus show Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani, has become a household name with her portrayal of Anokhi. The actress has gained immense popularity with her stint in the show. She is seen opposite Karanvir Sharma, who is playing the role of Shaurya in the show. Fans are loving their on screen chemistry and lovingly calls them #ShaKhi.

Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani has

been entertaining the viewers since beginning. The storyline of the much-loved show has kept the viewers hooked to their television screens. We saw how Shaurya and Anokhi have faced several challenges in their life. However, destiny has always brought them together. After a lot of troubles, Shaurya and Anokhi finally got married. While the viewers were waiting to see the duo sharing some romantic moments as husband and wife, the news of show going off-air left fans sad and disappointed.

The show has received a good response from viewers so far, however, the makers has decided to wrap up the show which has left cast and crew and also the fans shocked. The show enjoys immense popularity on social media, however, it failed to garner good TRP number which is necessary for the survival on television. Hence, it is going off-air.

In an interaction with TellyChakkar, actress Debattama Saha reveals her reaction when she heard the news of SAAKK going off-air. She said, “I kept praying and asked everyone in my family to pray for the show as I feel that prayers work. I didn’t lose hope till the last day. I was hoping that the makers would take the show digitally. I was hoping for a miracle. But it didn’t happen.”

The actress further said, “I am extremely bubbly and fun-loving. I went silent after all this. I used to talk very less on the set. I couldn’t hold back my tears while performing scenes. I used to pause for a second to wipe tears and then continue again. The scenes were so relatable to my life.” Debattama reveals that it was a big show for her and she could totally relate to her character.

The star cast has wrapped up the shoot last week. It’s last episode will telecast on 24th of July 2021. It is indeed a sad news for all the fans, but we hope that the actors will soon be back with new season. The show is produced by D.J’s Creative Unit. It stars actors like Alka Kaushal, Falaq Naaz, Sooraj Thapar, Pankaj Kalra, Khalid Siddiqui, Deepa Parab, Harsh Vashisht and Reema Worah among others.
