TV and film producer Ekta Kapoor‘s supernatural saga Naagin 5 is creating lot of buzz. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to introduce new twists and turns on the show. Actress Ravee Gupta, who has been playing the role of Maarkat in Naagin 5, is now all set to make her exit from the show.
The actress was playing a negative role in the show. Speaking about her track getting ended so soon in the show, Ravee expressed her disappointment during an interaction with Times of India. She quoted saying, “I am sad and it is a tad disappointing that my track in the show is over. But in television anything can happen. It is an unpredictable business. I was hoping that my track would last another two to three months, but unfortunately, that did not happen. While there is no clarity if Maarkat will return on the show, as of now my track is over.”
Ravee Gupta made her comeback on TV after almost eight years with Naagin 5. Talking about it, she said, “It was a great opportunity to work in such a popular franchise. I am happy that the makers gave me a chance to play such a strong, negative role for my comeback. I am hoping that this will open up more opportunities and I will get to do such challenging roles in the future as well.”
