Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: The ongoing track of Harshad Chopda-Pranali Rathod starrer YRKKH revolves around Abhimanyu getting arrested in Abhinav’s death case. Akshara is devastated and Muskan and other family members also shattered with Abhinav’s passing away.
Today’s episode witnessed family hiding tears in front of Abhir and Ruhi as they didn’t reveals the truth of Abhinav’s death. After a while, family gets ready of Abhinav’s last rites and Pandit Ji asks them who will perform final rites. Surekha says Abhir is Abhinav’s son while Mimi says that as per the ritual, Abhir should perform Abhinav’s final rites.
Akshara lights Abhinav’s pyre
Manish and Surekha decides to tell the truth of Abhinav’s death to Abhir so that they can make him ready for last rites. However, Akshara refuses to let Abhir perform Abhinav’s final rites as he is just a kid and she doesn’t want to reveal the truth that his father is no more. Akshara tells family that she will light Abhinav’s pyre.
Manish and Surekha locks Abhir and Ruhi in room as they watch cartoon while whole family performs Abhinav’s last rites rituals. Akshu bids emotional goodbye to Abhinav and puts their family photo near his body. The family gets emotional as they carries Abhinav’s body for funeral. At jail, Abhimanyu talks to lawyer asking him to get him out as he wants to be with his son.
As Akshara lights Abhinav’s pyre, Birla family arrives at the funeral. Muskan gets angry while Kairav refuses to let Manjari attend the funeral or console Akshu. He blames her and Abhi for their misfortunes. Manjari pleads to be with Akshara in this painful time and Manish allows her to come and mourn Abhinav’s loss.

In the upcoming episode we will see Akshara returning home after Abhinav’s last rites. Further, Manish, Kairav, Suhasini and Swarna meets the lawyer for Abhinav’s case to ensure Abhimanyu get punishment. The lawyer asks Manish if Akshara will come to the court for hearing. Manish tells lawyer that Akshu is not in a condition to go to court after her husband passing away.
Meanwhile, Akshara comes there and says that she will go to court to see Abhimanyu getting punished. Next day at court, Police brings Abhimanyu to court where he sees Akshara with family. Abhimanyu asks Akshara if Abhir is fine while she looks at him with hatred. Akshara tells him that Abhir’s father is no more and he is now a child without a father.
At home, Abhir sees a garland over Abhinav’s photo and wonders why family put flowers on his father photo. Ruhi sees flower on photo and stands shocked as she realizes that Abhir’s father is no more just like her father Neil.
