The Centre has transferred Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death case to the CBI. The agency has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty, Indrajit Chakraborty, Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda, and Shruti Modi in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput‘s death. Yesterday, Rhea Chakraborty, his brother Showik and Shruti Modi was interrogated by ED over money laundering case.
A week ago, Sushant Singh Rajput‘s father KK Singh has filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna, after which Bihar Police started probing the case. Sushant‘s father has labelled many allegation on Rhea. Soon after the FIR lodged in Bihar Police, Rhea Chakraborty had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking the transfer of Sushant Singh Rajput case from Bihar to Mumbai. As per reports, the Supreme Court is all set to hear Rhea‘s plea on August 11, 2020.
Now, as per latest reports, Sushant‘s father has filed a counter-affidavit against Rhea Chakraborty‘s plea. ANI reported, “#SushantSinghRajput‘s father, KK Singh (in file pic), files counter affidavit before Supreme Court stating the investigation in the FIR has already been transferred to CBI and thus Rhea Chakraborty‘s plea seeking transfer of probe to Mumbai stands infructuous.”
