Today On 6 February 2022, Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away after reportedly suffering from multiple organ failure. Lata ji was hospitalized in January and had been recovering and responding to the treatments. However, due to the post COVID complications, she suffered from multiple organ failure. Condolences and prayers have been pouring in for the veteran singer since morning. Many celebs including film/TV actors, singers, politicians, sports personalities among others have mourned the demise of Lata Mangeshkar.
Now, Bigg Boss 13 fame Shehnaaz Gill has mourned the demise of the Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar Ji. The singer-actress tweeted, “India lost its voice today, we are speechless, Om Shanti #LataMangeshkarJi.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was among the first ones to share the sad news. He tweeted, “I am anguished beyond words. The kind and caring Lata Didi has left us. She leaves a void in our nation that cannot be filled. The coming generations will remember her as a stalwart of Indian culture, whose melodious voice had an unparalleled ability to mesmerise people.”
