Star Plus show ‘Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani’ is set to say goodbye to the viewers very soon. The show, produced by DJ’s Creative Unit, has been making lot of headlines nowadays. It is one of the most loved show on television and receiving great response from viewers on social media. However, Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha starrer has failed to garnered good TRP numbers, hence, the show is all set to go off-air.
The news of off-air has left SAAKK fans sad & disheartened. They have been constantly requesting the makers and the channel to either change the slot or digitalize the show. However, looks like the efforts of the fans are not paid off as the higher authorities have decided to close it.
Now, actress Falaq Naaz who plays the character of Babli in the show recently talked about her journey in the show. In an interaction with India Forums, Falaq said, “It has been a beautiful journey. We received a lot of love from the fans and viewers. The show gave me a one-of-a-kind experience as we shot for more than two months on an outdoor schedule because of the shooting restriction in Maharashtra. The entire crew grew closer and thick with each other as we got to spend a lot of time together. So, yes, the show will always remain special to me.”
When asked about her favorite scene and track of the show, the actress revealed, “I remember the scene wherein Babli and her mother help Anokhi to elope from her own wedding. Those scenes were indeed very emotional. The three of us were quite into the characters and we legit cried while shooting for the sequences. We used to hold each other’s hands and tears would start pouring from our eyes. That’s my favorite track from the show.”
She further talked about the fans’ efforts for saving the show, she added, “Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani fans are simply amazing. I love all of them a lot. Entire #Shakhians gang is phenomenal. It’s not a cake walk to trend on twitter and they’ve been continuously doing it which leaves me speechless. It aches my heart to say that their efforts are not aid off as the show is indeed going off-air. I feel no words that I’ll say will justify their efforts and the love they’ve showered on the show and the entire cast.”
The show also stars actors like Alka Kaushal, Falaq Naaz, Sooraj Thapar, Pankaj Kalra, Khalid Siddiqui, Deepa Parab, Harsh Vashisht and Reema Worah among others. It is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Mohor. SAAKK may broadcast till 24th of July 2021 while Qissago Telefilms’ Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana will supplant the show from 26th of July 2021, as per reports.
