Actors Karanvir Sharma and Debattama Saha starrer Shaurya Aur Anokhi Ki Kahani is one of the most loved show on television. Produced under DJ’s a Creative Unit, the show is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Mohor. Karanvir & Debattama Aka Shaurya and Anokhi is ruling the hearts of viewers with their sizzling chemistry. Fans fondly calls the the duo #Shakhi.
Karanvir is playing the role of a professor (Shaurya). When the story began, Shaurya was shown as a misogynist because he assumed that his mother left him to pursue her career. He even wanted his fiancée Shagun to choose household duties over studies, but Shagun chose her career. Later, Shaurya‘s thought process and belief changed when he met his student Anokhi (Debattama).
Undoubtedly, Karanvir has beautifully expressed all the emotions and justified the character of Shaurya. However, it was not easy for the Zid actor to get into the skin of the character.
In a recent interaction with TellyChakkar, Karanvir Sharma shared how he prepared for the role of Shaurya. The actor revealed, “Initially, it was difficult to get a hang of Shaurya so I used to practice for long hours, but now it’s grown on me.”
He further said that he has always desired to play romantic roles. “I have always asked people to give me a romantic role. Post Mangalam Dangalam, they loved my comic timing so much that they wanted me for another comic role but I have always wanted to play a romantic role.”
