Colors TV’s Bigg Boss hosted by Salman Khan is one of the most popular controversial reality show on television. There have been lot of reports doing rounds about Karan Johar-hosted Bigg Boss OTT and Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 16. For the past few months, there were rumours that the makers are coming up with Bigg Boss OTT’s second season and have approached many popular TV actors for the show.
Now, as per the latest media reports, Bigg Boss OTT 2 is not happening this year. As per Tellychakkar, the makers have decided to scrap BB OTT this year and it will go on floors next year in February or March. Previously, the news were that Bigg Boss OTT season 2 will start rolling next month.

Further, the report suggested that Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show is in the pre-production stage. The new Bigg Boss house likely to be constructed in a couple of days. Reportedly, the makers have started locking up the contestants and have approached a lot of popular celebrities. The Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali actor is expected to shoot for the promo in the first week of September.
Few weeks back, on IIFA 2022, Salman confirmed that he is returning as the host in Bigg Boss 16. Talking about hosting IIFA and Bigg Boss, Salman said, “This is the first time I will be hosting IIFA so I don’t know how that’s going to be. But, Bigg Boss I have been hosting for the past many years.”
When asked Salman if it’s safe to say that he will host Bigg Boss this year as well, Salman said, “Yes, very safe.”
