Dilaik started her acting career from Zee TV’s popular show Chotti Bahu though she wanted to be an IAS and was preparing for it but got selected in auditions was held in Chandigarh. Dilaik rose to fame by playing Radhika Shastri in Chotti Bahu opposite actor Avinash Sachdev. In 2012, Rubina portrayed the role of Simran “Smiley” Gill in Sony TV‘s show Saas Bina Sasural.
In 2013, Dilaik played the role of Divya Jakhotia in Zee TV‘s show Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed opposite actor Karan Grover. The actress has also portrayed the role of Sita in Life OK‘s mythological show Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev and Jeannie in SAB TV‘s Jeannie Aur Juju.
