Bollywood veteran actor Rishi Kapoor passes away this morning, Thursday 30 April 2020. The actor was admitted to the Reliance Foundation hospital in South Bombay after he complained of breathlessness. The actor was fighting a battle against cancer for a long time. Rishi Kapoor‘s sudden demise left entire nation numb.
After Irrfan Khan‘s sudden demise yesterday, the news of Rishi Kapoor‘s passing away has come as another shock to entire Bollywood and TV industry. The shocking news has left everyone shaken. The actor’s family released a statement where they not only declared the reason for Rishi‘s illness and subsequent death but also requested the actor’s well-wishers to not gather for a glimpse of the actor, considering the lockdown.
Rishi Kapoor‘s close family members and friends came to attend his funeral and pay tribute to veteran actor. The actor’s wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir Kapoor with his girlfriend Alia Bhatt. Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Armaan Jain and his wife along with Aadar Jain. Anil Ambani who is a close friends of the Kapoors, Abhishek Bachchan and others attended his funeral tp pay tribute the the actor.
Rishi Kapoor‘s mortal remains were taken in an ambulance decorated with flowers for the late actor’s last rites. His cremation took place at the Chandanwadi Crematorium.
