Ramanand Sagar‘s Ramayan breaks World Record surpasses The Big Bang Theory and Game Of Thrones finale viewership. Ramayan has set a world record with 77mn (7.7cr) views on April 16, 2020. Ramanand Sagar’s mythological shows re-telecast show become the most-watched entertainment show all over the world.

Soon after the DD National announces the news of world record, netizens started trending #RamayanSetsWorldRecord. Fans started comparing the show with the popular English show The Big Bang Theory that drew 18.5 mn live viewership on May 16, 2019 and Game of Thrones had around 17.4 mn live viewership in its finale episode.

Ramanand Sagar‘s Ramayan‘s re-telecast concluded on April 18 and was replaced with Uttar Ramayan. The story of Lord Ram and Sita‘s twins Luv and Kush. Ramayan was originally aired on TV from January 25, 1987, to July 31, 1988.
