Popular television and film actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday morning. His sudden demise has left everyone in shock. After the news of his demise, many celebrities including Rahul Mahajan went to the late actor’s residence to pay their last respect and meet his family.
In a recent interview, Rahul Mahajan talked about his bond with Sidharth and opened up on meeting his mother and very close friend Shehnaaz
As per reports in Times of India, talking about the late actor, Rahul said, “He was a different kind of person, he would not even like us mourning for him and I met his mother today who is also such a strong woman. She had tears in her eyes but she was strong and told me ‘death is obvious but said itna jaldi nahi hona chahiye tha.’ She is a mother and how can any mother see her son go away in her lifetime.”
Talking about meeting Shehnaaz Gill, Rahul said, “She had gone completely pale as if a storm had just passed by and washed away everything.”
Well, Shehnaaz and Sidharth shared a very close friendship. They were also rumoured to be dating but the two never opened up about the same. After Bigg Boss 13, they were featured many music videos together. Fans fondly called the duo ‘SidNaaz’.
Sidharth Shukla was one of the most adored personality of Indian television industry. The handsome hunk gained immense popularity with his stint in controversial show Bigg Boss 13. He was best known for portraying the role of ‘Shiv’ in Colors TV popular show Balika Vadhu & ‘Parth’ in Dil Se Dil Tak. He has been a winner of India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He also hosted shows like Savdhaan India & India’s Got Talent season 6, 7. The actor’s last public appearance was on Karan Johar hosted show Bigg Boss OTT & Colors dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 with Shehnaaz Gill. His last body of work was the web series – Broken But Beautiful 3.
