Colors TV show Udaariyaan all set to take a generation leap of 15 years post which the show will see major changes in the storyline. The lead couple Ankit Gupta–Priyanka Chahar Choudhary aka Fateh-Tejo set to leave Udaariyaan. The upcoming track of the show revolve around Jasmine’s daughter Naaz and Fateh-Tejo’s daughter Nehmat, who is not their real daughter but an orphan whom Jasmine left with them.
The makers shared the new promo featuring Fateh-Tejo singing a good-bye song. The new leads Nehmat and Naaz, played by Twinkle Arora–Sonakshi Batra seen walking hand in hand in the video.
In an interaction with India Forums, Priyanka Choudhary spoke about quitting Udaariyaan. She revealed her initial thoughts when she learned about the show taking a generation leap. The actress said, “Well, yes, as you’ll know, the show is set for a generation leap and that’s why Ankit and I will no longer be a part of the show. When I first learned about it, I was fine with it. I believed that it’s a part and parcel of an actors’ life.”

She said, “But now when I look at the promo, it has finally started to sink in that we won’t be a part of the show anymore and it’s of course an emotional feeling because I’m quite connected and close to the character of Tejo. I have seen the promo at least a hundred times, because probably it can be the last promo of Tejo.”
The actress further added, “I’d like to thank Ravi and Sargun for believing in me and giving me ‘Udaariyaan’. It will always be special to me and will always remain close to my heart. I’ve got a lot of exposure because of the show and it has been an enriching experience so far.”
Udaariyaan started in March 2021, produced by actors Ravi Dubey–Sargun Mehta under their production banner Dreamiyata Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. & Devirosh Films. The show stars Isha Malviya, Chetna Singh, Virsa Singh Riar, Abhishek Kumar, Ram Aujla, Rashmeet Kaur Sethi, Abhiraaj Chawla & others.
