Panipat is an Indian historical war film 2019 directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. It is based on the Third Battle of Panipat. Panipat 2019 film casts Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon.
STORY
The film story is based on the Third
Battle of Panipat which took place on the 14 January in 1761. Between the Marathas and the King of Afghanistan, Ahmad Shah Abdali. In the 18th century Marathas emerge as the most powerful empire in the whole India.
However, their happiness is short lived. As the Afghan King Ahmad Shah Abdali plans to take over India. Then the Maratha king orders Sadashiv Rao Bhau to stop him at any cost. This leads to the Third Battle of Panipat between the two armies.
