Actress Divyanka Tripathi, who was recently in news for playing lead in the 2nd season of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, had turned down the offer of the show, stating she could not relate to the character. She later said she would have looked a little older than Nakuul Mehta, who had already been finalised for the lead role. Now, as per latest reports in SpotboyE, actress Disha Parmar will be seen playing lead role opposite actor Nakuul Mehta in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2.
Disha, who recently tied the knot with Bigg Boss 14 runner up, singer Rahul Vaidya, will be the new face of the upcoming show. Disha will be reuniting with Nakuul in this show after long time. The two were earlier seen together in Star Plus show Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara. The show was put on air in 2012, and it ended in 2014. In the show, Nakuul essayed the character of Aditya and Disha portrayed the role Pankhuri. The two shares a good equation and it will be interesting to see them together once again.
The 1st season of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain starred actor Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead. The show, owing to the chemistry between the stellar actors, achieved immense popularity.
