Colors newly launched show Nima Denzongpa (Surabhi Das) is another unique concept important to bring change in society’s thoughts. It is the story of a northeastern woman named Nima. This story took many leaps and very fast. Story started in Sikkim where Nima lived with her parents. Her parents had many hopes from her and wanted her to make her career.
Nima met Suresh (Akshay Kelkar) in Sikkim where he came for his shooting work. Nima and Suresh exchanged love letters for two months. Suresh asked Nima to decide if she will go to Mumbai with him. Nima discussed about Suresh with her mother. Her mother told her about her incomplete love story. She advised Nima to decide from her heart.
Nima left with Suresh for Mumbai. After coming to Mumbai Nima faced many problems. Firstly, Suresh’s friend Amol tried to molest her. His wife accused Nima as a characterless Woman. Suresh’s mother was not willing to accept her being a northeastern woman.
Suresh somehow convinced his mother for his and Nima’s marriage. Nima education left behind. She started doing household chores and hearing taunts from Sunita (Suresh’s mother/Usha Naik). She gave birth to two girls Sia (Asmi Deo) and Manya (Ravya Sadhwani). Sunita forced Suresh to marry Tulika (Sharmila Shinde) , a girl from their community. Nima gave birth to another girl whereas at the same time Tulika married Suresh.
In some time Tulika too got pregnant and gave birth to a son. Tulika and Sunita played evil tricks and made Nima and Suresh fight. Nima left the house with her daughters. She started working at a tea stall from where Manya got lost. She searched Manya took Police’s help.
When she went to ask Suresh help in finding Manya, tulika didn’t let her meet him. Every night Suresh searched for Nima but all his efforts went in vain. With lord Ganesha’s help Nima found Manya in hospital with a couple. Nima’s fate changed from here and the couple offered her job in their house.
In the today’s episode, couple finalizes Nima’s job. She also buys a house near Suresh’s house. Tulika and Sunita sees gets shock seeing Nima as their new neighbor. While Nima goes to get her daughter’s admitted in a school, Sunita and Tulika think how Nima got money to buy a house.
Nima gets late on her first day of work. Head of the house scolds Nima at first but she gets her job back by impressing the head. Other side, Tulika and Sunita scatters Nima’s house behind her. Nima returns and finds ‘Panauti’ written on her door.
