Star Plus show Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei has been making lot of headline nowadays. Recently, there were reports in media that the show is gearing up to take a 10-year leap. After leap the show will witness new entry to play lead character. As per reports, Delhi girl Simran Tomar is going to play the role of grown-up Chikoo in the show.
And now, as per India Forums reports, actor Sai Ketan Rao has been approached for the show to play the male lead. Sai Ketan Rao recently seen in Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali which went off-air in November.
In an interaction with India Forums, Sai Ketan confirmed the news of being approached for Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei. He said, “Yes I have been approached for the show but nothing is finalised. I have to schedule dates.”
As per sources, the show will take a leap and lead actors Paridhi Sharma and Himanshu Malhotra will no longer be part of it. The new characters will be introduced around Valentine’s Day on the show.
In a recent interaction, producer Nilanjana Purkayasstha also confirmed the development.
