Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali: Sai Ketan Rao Opens up on the response he has been getting from the show

Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali is one of the most loved show on television. The show stars Shivangi Khedkar and Sai Ketan Rao, who is playing the role of Pallavi and Raghav in the show. Fans are loving their on screen chemistry and fondly calls them #RaghVi. The show is produced by SOL Productions and Sandiip Films. It is based on Star Maa’s Telugu series Gorintaku.

Ketan spoke about working in the Hindi GEC space. The show recently clocked in 100 episodes and has been garnering rave reviews. Speaking about if he ever fathomed the kind of response he has been getting for this show, the actor said, “I came on this project with no expectations I think, I just worked with my character and along with the story, and went with the flow. I never had it in my mind that this is the kind of response I will get or there will be such a fandom, to begin with. I was just thinking about the role and the story, and that’s it.”

Sai has made a shift to the Hindi DEC space, talking about if the show has brought a change in any manner, the handsome hunk said, “There is a change of course, because every project is a level up and also in terms of my career, and that’s the thing. Coming to Hindi, this is a project, and there is only a language difference. In Hyderabad, I shot in Telugu and here it is Hindi, and that’s the only difference. Of course, I understand Hindi has a bigger audience because all Indians see Star Plus shows, but the procedure is the same.”

The current track of the show spins around Pallavi becoming acquainted with the reality behind her ex-husband Mandar’s passing away, which is connected with Raghav.
