Sony TV’s one of the most popular show Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi is all set to come back with its brand new season 3. The show stars Shaheer Sheikh, Erica Fernandes, Supriya Pilgaonkar in key roles, the trio is making a comeback with its third season. In a recent interaction with a leading media portal in a virtual press conference, Shaheer Sheikh aka Dev revealed his on-screen mother Supriya
The actor shared, “I was so excited when I heard about the show’s third season, the moment I got to know I just called up Supriya maa and told her you have to do this, you can’t say know. No excuses. Because there were chances that she might not do the show as she had signed up something else. Maine actually woh haq jataya joh sirf Dev ka tha Ishwari par.”
Supriya Pilgaonkar said, “Nahi nahi pehla haq tumhara he hai, Dev ka baad mein hai.” Actress Supriya Pilgaonkar, who plays the part of Shaheer‘s mother in the show, further added that Shaheer called me and said, you have to do this. And, this was the first time he said so firmly. Later on, when I came to know that Erica is also going to be a part of the show, then I had no reason to say no to the show.
Shaheer and Supriya share a very close bond off-screen also. Shaheer addresses her as Supriya Maa in real life. Earlier, while speaking to ETimes TV, Shaheer said, “I don’t think I will ever stop calling her Maa. From the very first day, I felt a connection with Supriya Maa. I actually felt from within that working with her is going to be amazing. She also treats me like her son. I think you are very lucky if you get a pure love of a mother. And just imagine how lucky you are when you get love from two mothers.”
