In a recent conversation with BollywoodLife, Rashami Desai recalled her meeting with Irrfan Khan. The actress quoted saying, “I met Irrfan Khan twice or thrice in my life. One of my friends was a co-producer of Madaari. He was so down-to-earth that I felt embarrassed. None of the trappings of stardom mattered to him. He had no airs and made us feel so comfortable. The only thing that he was concerned about was his craft and work.”
The actress gets emotional while talking about him. Rashami said, “I think he has impacted every artiste the world over. We saw the tributes that came in from Hollywood as well. He is truly inspirational. I think he has taught us a lot about living our lives as well. His journey was phenomenal. Think of it, he did come from a film background but made it on the world stage.”
Rashami also spoke about Rishi Kapoor, the actress said she grew up watching Rishi Kapoor‘s movies. She also revealed that her mom kept on talking about the veteran actor whole day. Rashami told BollywoodLife, “She did not miss a single broadcast on him. After a point, I got a little worried.”
