Actress Mayuri Deshmukh, who grabbed lot of attention with her portrayal of Malini in Star Plus show Imlie, is all set to re-enter the show with new twist. The show stars Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan in lead and have been making lot of buzz with it’s interesting storyline. In a recent interaction with a leading portal, Mayuri opened up on her comeback and also revealed Sumbul & Fahmaan aka Imlie-Aryan’s reaction on her re-entry in the show.
Talking about her comeback, Mayuri told India Forums, “Well, Imlie’s production house has always been quite accommodating, adjusting and flexible, they’ve always attended to my concerns and apprehensions. It was always a thing that whenever they’ll require, I will be there and this time around when called me and explained me the plot, I quite liked it and ‘Imlie’ is like a home ground for me, there’s a lot of comfort over there, that’s all that clicked my mind when the offer came across again to be a part of the show.”
Mayuri further shared how Sumbul Touqeer and Fahmaan Khan reacted on the news of her return in the show ‘Imlie’. She quoted saying, “I have worked with Fahmaan for a brief period of time while I’ve shot with Sumbul more. They both were excited and knew about the news way before it went viral. They used to secretly message and share their excitement. I would tell them to stay mum until everything figures out (laughs). They were visibly excited.”

She also shared her feelings on returning to the show and said, “There’s always an apprehension before you take up anything. I just hope that it pans out the way it has been told that it should. I am quite excited and keeping my fingers crossed. Hoping that this innings will also be as fruitful as the earlier one was (smiles).”
The show produced by Gul Khan’s Four Lions Pvt Ltd. The supporting cast includes actors like Rajshri Rani, Kiran Khoje, Meena Naithani, Jyoti Gauba, Indraneel Bhattacharya. Neetu Pandey, Vijay Kumar, Resham Prashant, Nilima Singh, Gaurav Mukesh among others.
