Star Plus popular show Imlie is one of the most loved and successful show on television right now. The show stars Fahmaan Khan–Sumbul Touqeer Khan in lead. The duo is winning everyone’s heart with their on screen sizzling chemistry and fans also loves their off-screen camaraderie. The two shares a very close bond in real life and there has been constant buzz about them being more than friends.
In a recent interaction with ETimes TV, Fahmaan Khan put the pull stop on the rumours of being more than friend with Imlie co-star Sumbul Touqeer. The handsome hunk quoted saying, “Sumbul and I are not a couple. My name Fahmaan means ‘very understanding’ and I am friendly and understanding with everyone. I can be a super best friend, but I can be a troublesome boyfriend, so I want to steer clear of relationships right now.”
He further added, “I enjoy my friendship with Sumbul because there are no expectations and we are fully focused on giving our best to the show. She is a great co-actor. I love my ‘alone’ space and do not want to get into a relationship. I am very happy that people love our pairing and even want to see us get married.”

Talking of Fahmaan-Sumbul’s show, there have been reports doing round that Imlie set to take a generation leap after which the story will focus on Imlie’s original daughter. The reports also suggested that leads Fahmaan-Sumbul might leave the show and new actors may join as lead.
Not only this, some reports says that Sumbul Touqeer Khan might retain to play lead in the show even after generation leap but Fahmaan Khan might exit the show. What will happen next only time will tell.
