Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin fame Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma got married in November 2021. The duo met for the first time on the set of their show and fell in love with each other. Currently, the couple is seen in Star Plus’ real-life couples reality show ‘Smart Jodi‘. The show is more about the couples’ compatibility and understanding.
In an interaction with India Forums, actress Aishwarya Sharma who plays the role of Pakhi in GHKKPM, spoke about participating in Smart Jodi with her hubby Neil Bhatt. Talking about it, she quoted saying, “Well, Neil and I always wanted to do a talent-based reality show but when this show was offered, we were quite intrigued.”
She added, “We were both elated to be a part of this as we’re getting to do something other than GHKKPM. We will also feature our rehearsals in the show, which is quite exciting. I’m also happy that I’ll no longer have to wear sarees (laughs). I think it’s fun. I can’t tell you how happy I am.”

Aishwarya also talked about not getting enough time to spend with hubby Neil Bhatt after their wedding. She said, “Basically, we’re doing this show for fun. We’ve not gotten enough time to spend post wedding as on sets we shoot in different units and have hardly any scenes together. Even off-screen, we don’t even get time to sit together. ‘Smart Jodi’ came as a blessing as we’re finally getting time with each other and know each other better with each passing day. This show is like a compatibility test. I am very excited and I feel like I’ll live my childhood again on the show.”
