Star Plus show ‘Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin‘ starring Neil Bhatt and Ayesha Singh in lead, is one of the most popular show on television. It is grabbing lot of attention with it’s interesting twists and turns and amazing storyline. Neil and Ayesha as Virat & Sai, is winning viewers hearts with their on-screen chemistry.
Currently, the show is gearing up for a grand performance of the lead couple Neil and Ayesha, who will be seen dancing on number of superhit Bollywood songs of different era. Not only will the lead pair have seven performances, but the makers have arranged an elaborated sequences wherein from the background, to props and everything would change with every performance.
In the interaction with India Forums, the Creative Director of GHKKPM, Siddhartha Vankar who has conceptualized this grand sequence along with others, said, “It was Rajesh ji’s idea of doing a grand dance sequence. It has been a while that anything of that sort happened in the show. We brainstormed and came up to a conclusion of using the era-based theme wherein Sai and Virat will be seen performing on popular song from different era starting from the 1950s to 2010 songs. It was great fun planning and executing the sequence since Ghum… is a very dramatic show, sequences like these are like breath of fresh air.”
He further thanked the Director, choreographer and the entire production team for this grand sequence. Vankar mentioned how it was a tedious task but they pulled it off brilliantly. Siddhartha said that they have achieved some amazing shots and the best part was that they achieved what they had visualized. There are several pictures of dance sequence of Sai and Virat, which are floating on social media and the GHKKPM team is elated with the output and the response that they are getting for the sequence.
Explaining more about the sequence, Siddhartha revealed that Neil and Ayesha had changed eight outfit during the performances. He quoted, “Neil and Ayesha had eight outfit changes. It was easier for Neil as he only had costume changes but Ayesha had to change the costumes along with the entire make-up, hairdo and all the elaborated things were planned for her. They both were a sport. The duo does have a crackling chemistry and it’s electric when they’re together and it shows in their performances. So yes, it has been tedious but a very fruitful experience.”
Talking about the responses of the actors on learning about this grand sequence, Siddhartha said, “Neil and Ayesha both were taken aback after learning the grandness of the sequence. Neil was very happy but Ayesha was scared. Neil is a fabulous dancer, there’s no doubt about that but Ayesha sometimes runs away from the idea of dancing but I believe Neil really made her comfortable and watching him perform so well, Ayesha too got with it and she has done a brilliant job.”
Lastly, He revealed that they have done three songs in one day and four songs the another day. There were a lot of things going around, From rehearsals, background dancers to make-ups & other changes, but the team pulled it of brilliantly, he added. Siddhartha assured that viewers will going to love the episode. He said that they are overwhelmed with all the response that have been getting until now. GHKKPM is a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Kusum Dola. The show also stars Aishwarya Sharma, Kishori Shahane, Adish Vaidya, Bharti Patil, Sheetal Maulik, Mitaali Nag, Yash Pandit among others.
