Popular TV/film actor & Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla passed away at the age of 40 due to cardiac arrest on Thursday, September 2. His untimely death has left his family, fans, friends and entire industry deeply saddened. After Sidharth Shukla‘s last rites, his friend/designer Ken Ferns took to social media remembering the late actor. Ken Ferns shared a picture of Sidharth Shukla and expressed grief by writing an emotional note for him.
Ken‘s post reads, “Who would have thought that this day was the last we spent together, laughed .. discussed how awesome our look turned out the previous day & how we should now start building a characterised look for you.
Who should have ever imagined that this look i designed for you would be my last .. The other day we were making plans to travel .. making plans to chill out .. hangout more often cos things have now opened up … Who will call me names now.. who will give those hard hi-fives and hold my neck .. Why did you have to make it so difficult for all of us shukla, how do we heal ?”
He continued to say, “I’m blessed to have been a part of your life, those Diwali parties .. those jhalak days, rehearsals, shoots and after gatherings. .. so many tales so many historic funny moments, I’m blessed to have been a part of your journey, thank you for keeping me by your side, thank you for thinking of me. I shall cherish all your memories & celebrate your life & always give strength & encouragement to people like you always did.. Rise to the heavens and rock that world .. just like u ruled & rocked this … .Love you .. always & forever.”

Sidharth Shukla was one of the most loved personality of Indian television industry. The handsome hunk gained immense popularity with his stint in the controversial show Bigg Boss 13. He made his acting debut with the Hindi TV show Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na in 2008. He was best known for portraying the role of ‘Shiv’ in Colors TV popular show Balika Vadhu & ‘Parth’ in Dil Se Dil Tak. He has been a winner of India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss 13 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. He also hosted shows like Savdhaan India & India’s Got Talent season 6, 7.
His last public appearance was on Karan Johar hosted show Bigg Boss OTT & Colors’ dance reality show Dance Deewane 3 with Shehnaaz Gill. His last body of work was the web series – Broken But Beautiful 3. His one music video titled ‘Habit’ with Shehnaaz Gill is still pending which was shot in Goa.
