Bigg Boss 14: Sonali Phogat says she never loved Aly Goni; “It was just an infatuation”

Bigg Boss 14 contestant Sonali Phogat, who entered the house as wild card, got evicted from the show due to less votes by viewers. During her stay inside the house, Sonali Phogat grabbed lot of attention after she confessed her feelings towards co-contestant Aly Goni. However, she received lot of trolling on social media for the same.

Speaking about the trolling & negative comments, in an interaction with Times of India, Sonali

said, “There was a torrent of shocking comments on my Instagram. I was taken aback. Everybody was trolling me because of the affection I had towards Aly (Goni). Bahut buri baatein likhi gayi mere baare mein. Some even said, ‘Yeh show ke layak nahi hai, isko kyun bula liya?’. There were so many mean comments. Par bhai kuch bhi kehte raho, main toh aisi hoon. I will not change myself for anybody.”

Sonali further added, “I think after a few live sessions and interviews, people started knowing me better. Now, the trolling has stopped. Ab toh 90% log social media par tareef hi karte hain (smiles).”

During the conversation, Sonali Phogat also stated that she never said she loved Aly Goni. The politician-actor says, “The age difference between me and Aly is exactly the same as that between Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia, bas yahaan main badi hoon aur wahan Eijaz ji. Toh unka rishta cute aur mera galat kaise? Nobody trolls Priyanka Chopra Jonas for marrying Nick Jonas or Sushmita Sen for dating Rohman Shawl. It’s somehow okay. Also, I never said I love Aly, it was just an infatuation. I can’t even think about him like that. I like him as an actor and as a person.”
