Bigg Boss 13 winner Siddharth Shukla talks about Kishwer Merchant calling him an undeserving winner. Bigg Boss 13 has finally got over. And Siddharth Shukla emerged as the winner of this longest and the most successful season.
This season also had the most number of contestants and yet Siddharth Shukla was the favourite since day one. There were six finalists this season and in the end, the top two were the former best friends Asim Riaz and Siddharth Shukla. Both of them have been amazing players and fans were all divided over who will be the winner of this season. The two have always been considered as each other’s competitors and their fans have always had a war on twitter over who was better.
Even after Siddharth won, fans felt that he was not deserving and he was a fixed winner of this season. Not just fans, even celebrities have given their opinion about the same. The makers of the show were accused of being biased towards Siddharth by social media users. Including former Bigg Boss contestant Kishwer Merchant. She said that Siddharth Shukla was an undeserving winner.
In an interview with PTI, Siddharth Shukla spoke about this. He said, “I just feel that’s really sad that people feel that. Especially when they have been a part of it and know exactly how the show works. You cannot really change someone’s point of view. Each one has their own opinion and so does she (Kishwer). To me, it doesn’t make a difference what some people say it. Because there are a lot of people out there, who have showered me with a lot of love.”
When Siddharth asked about his journey in the show. He said, “My journey was fantastic, where I displayed most of the emotions that I could… I haven’t had a lot of interaction with people outside. From whatever I have heard and seen, there’s been a lot of love and support from people. And that’s really something I don’t want to lose out on. I hope I don’t do anything that gets them off me.”
