Colors Tv Superhit show Bigg Boss is all set to return with its 13th season at the end of this month. Actor and host Salman Khan made the revelation through a brand new promo released by the channel on Sunday night. Bigg Boss 13 is being premiered on Sunday, September 29 at 9 pm. The weekday episodes will air from Monday to Friday at 10:30 pm.
The promo shows Salman Khan as a chef making khichdi and raita while hinting at all the trouble the contestants will create this time. The video featured TV actors Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Wahi. As it was announced earlier, that this season will reach its finale within four weeks of the show. Lekin season ka swad phir bhi rahega janhit mein jaari (But the flavour of the season will stay with the viewers), says Salman Khan in the video which is posted by colors channel on Instagram.
All Celebrities, No Commoners
It is reported that after the last season, which had a mix of celebrities and commoners as contestants failed to work, the show will now only have celebrities as participants and no commoner has been roped in.
Location of the new House
Every year Bigg Boss house is set up in Lonavala. But this year location of the set has been changed and shifted to Mumbai. It will be shot in Film City, Goregaon.
Bigg Boss has been the most popular reality show on television, raking the highest TRPs with every season. Usually, one season run for three months from late September to early January, but this year makers have modified the templates.
Format of the Show
The source further revealed details of the format of the show to the entertainment website : All contestants are celebrity this year, no commoners like before in past three seasons, According to the format contestants will be divided into two groups, each group consisting of at least six people. There will be two groups that is players and ghosts. They will be unaware about each other and the task of the players would be to unmask ghost and make their way inside the house while Ghost need to stay unmasked and stop players from entering.
The ghost team will have six people including Meghna Malik, Pavitra Punia and Mahika Sharma. On the other hand, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Rashmi Desai, Dayanand Shetty, Rajpal Yadav, Siddhart Shukla will be in players team.
A Pinkvilla report quoted a source as saying, “For the first time, The first week elimination is done by Salman Khan himself on the basis of poor performance of the contestant and he will nominate contestant for the second week.
