Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala Reveals she was Paid rupees 7000 for song Kaanta Laga; Says, “my father was completely against it”

Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala one of the most popular wild card contestant on Salman Khan‘s reality show. The ‘Kaanta Laga‘ actress grabbed lots of headlines during her stint in Bigg Boss house. Shefali has played the game very well and participated in every task. She was one of the strongest contestant on the show.

The actress rose to fame from her first remix song Kaanta Laga. After which she decided to get into acting line. Recently, in a chat with the Times

Of India actress opened up about her initial days. When she was approached for song Kaanta Laga. Shefali reveals that she was studying in college when she was offered this song. The actress also reveals that her father was against her doing the song.

Shefali told TOI, “Today, whatever I am is because of ‘Kaanta Laga‘. I was outside my college when the directors of the song, Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, saw me and instantly offered me the song. I was in college then and I come from a family of academicians, so my parents told me to focus on my studies. But I wanted to do it because I was getting paid for it. I earned Rs 7,000 from that song, and I wanted to see myself on TV.”

“But my father was completely against it. So first, I took my mom into confidence and then, we both convinced my father. And that song turned out to be such a hit that it was like a fairy tale for me. It changed my life completely,” she said.
