Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma forging Dadasaheb Phalke Award controvery gets more dirtier after DPIFF organisers Demands apology. The actress recently won the ‘Most Fashionable Bigg Boss 13 contestant‘ award at the Dada Saheb Phalke International Film Festival 2020.
Later, she flaunted her certificate on social media. DPIFF official Page posted on social media that the certificate flaunted by Mahira Sharma was a fake one. They demanded an apology stating it was very defamatory for them. They slammed her for flaunting the win and told her to remove all articles from news portals.
The authorities of Dadasaheb Phalke Internation Film Festival (DPIFF) have responded to Mahira Sharma‘s claim from last evening (February 24). In an open letter, they have showed the pictures of an authentic certificate and the fake certificate, which Mahira shared on her social media.
DPIFF shared a note on social media saying, “Ms. Mahira, We hereby present the required facts on the matter. We further await for your apology as we don’t want to drag this further and close it on a good note!”
The post read that Mahira Sharma received a fake certificate from a 3rd party PR agency. They have also revealed that the 3rd party PR agency has been printing certificates without their knowledge for past two years. Hence the difference in original and fake certificates. However, due to the damage of DPIFF‘s reputation, they want an apology from the BB13 contestant.
Last night, the actress had issued a statement stating that the allegations are untrue. And that she has not forged any documents. Mahira also described the whole situation in detail and said that there was a huge miscommunication. Take a look at her social media post:
