Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma accused of forging Dada Saheb Phalke Award Certificate, DPIFF’s team issues a statement

Bigg Boss 13 contestant Mahira Sharma has landed herself in a huge controversy. Actor Mahira Sharma was recently in news for posting the image of a certificate. That showed that she has won the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for being a fashionable contestant.

Now, Mahira is accused by the organizers of Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival. For forging a certificate of appreciation by the committee. Mahira Sharma, who was an attendee of this event, posted an Instagram story on 20th February 2020. Showcasing that she has received a certificate of appreciation at the DPIFF award ceremony. For being “The Most Fashionable Contestant Of Bigg Boss 13.”

After that, this story has been copied and reposted by the fan pages on Instagram. Along with multiple media houses who have posted this as news on their websites. Take a Look at the DPIFF official instagram page who accaused Mahira Sharma for forging the certificate.

However, DPIFF’s official team issued an open statement. Saying that this said certificate of appreciation has not been issued by any team member of DPIFF team. No one associated from DPIFF team in this event. Hence, the certificate considered to be forged.

The DPIFF‘s team issued an Intimation letter of such act to Mahira Sharma. Asking to take down all the misleading PR activities done by her and her team. DPIFF has asked her to share a written public apology to the brand within the next 48 hours. Failing to do so will result in legal proceedings against her and all the others involved in preparation of such purported story and certificate.
