Actress Jennifer Winget, Shivin Narang and Ashish Chowdhury starrer Beyhadh 2 is in the news for all the wrong reasons. Firstly, due to reports of the show being shifted from channel to digital platform grabbed headlines. And now rumours of the lead actress Jennifer quitting the show has been doing the rounds owing to pay hike.
However, Jennifer Winget has denied to all these speculations doing rounds. Jennifer clarified and also slammed the news reports which are spreading rumours of quitting the show due to her pay hike.
Jennifer took to twitter and wrote, “Here it is, to clarify, I am not “quitting” Beyhadh or anything to that effect. I am sticking to my original plan as envisaged when I signed on and honouring my initial commitment. The fact remains that the channel was keen on moving the show to its digital platform, and all I did was beg to defer their decision, preferring/agreeing to continue on TV. For the record, there had been no discussion of a price hike or bolting on Beyhadh at any point.”
Take a look at the tweet:
Earlier, the channel and producer of the show also denied the speculation. Prateek Sharma while talking to the TimesofIndia.com, dismissed all the rumours. He said, “Beyhadh is a finite show and it will run for six months. It is already three months old and it is getting the same kind of viewership. As it had in the first season. All this talk of the show going off air is false.” Beyhadh 2 is also enjoying the same viewership as the first season garnered.
