Actress Ayesha Singh, who’s winning everyone’s hearts with her portrayal of Sai Joshi in Star Plus’ show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, spoke about doing romantic scenes with co-star Neil Bhatt aka Virat. The ongoing track of the show revolves around Sai opting for surrogacy process to become mother after losing her child. However, Pakhi misleads Sai’s surrogate Geeta and she herself becomes surrogate mother of #SaiRat’s child to stay close to Virat.
In an interaction with ETimes, Ayesha opens up on playing young-mom onscreen. She quoted saying, “This is my first show as a lead actor and I’ve always been open about enacting any type of role. I may be young, but if playing mom is an intrinsic part of the script then I would not have any problems. I don’t feel that actors get typecast.”

Ayesha Singh plays Neil Bhatt aka Virat’s wife role in the show. Neil’s wife in real life Aishwarya Sharma is also part of the same show. Talking about if she finds any difficulty to portray romantic scenes with Neil, especially in Aishwarya’s presence, Ayesha replied, “No, we are all part of a big team and have a great connect off screen. We are actors when the camera is on, so I don’t have a problem with any of the scenes, whether they are romantic or not. What is required is required for a scene.”
The actress is happy with the way her career has shaped up so far and hopes to do films in the future. Speaking about working in films, she said, “I do want to work with good film directors in the future, but for now, my whole life revolves around this show. It has been a busy year and I am waiting to go on a vacation.”
GHKKPM, produced by Cockcrow Entertainment and Shaika Films. The show written by Leena Gangopadhyay and directed by Jaydeep Sen, Ranjeet Gupta and Ashwini Saraswat. Its a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali series Kusum Dola. The show features actors like Aishwarya Sharma, Yogendra Vikram Singh, Kishori Shahane. Adish Vaidya, Bharti Patil, Sheetal Maulik, Mitaali Nag, Yash Pandit among others.
