Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai starring Harshad Chopda-Pranali Rathod, has taken 1 year leap. The ongoing track of the show revolves around Abhimanyu and Akshara getting separated after Kunal Khera puts condition in front of Akshu that in return of Abhi’s surgery she have to give her voice to his sister Maya. With no choice left, Akshara agrees with Kunal’s condition for the sake of Abhi’s surgery. Soon, Abhimanyu-Akshara will have a major face-off.
Post leap, the story focuses on Akshara recording songs for Maya and staying with them in Mauritius away from her family and Abhimanyu. However, there is not a single day when she doesn’t remembers Abhimanyu. She hides her pain of staying away from Abhi.
On the other hand, Abhimanyu has changed and doesn’t give time to hospital and surgeries after Akshu left him alone without telling him the reason. Abhi has become an adrenaline junkie and keeps doing daredevil stunts in competition. He uses the head-phones with noise sound not to listen songs but as a distraction from Akshara’s voice.
Abhimanyu recalls his past how after surgery Akshara was not present with him. Post which, he saw a video clip where Akshu seen leaving with Kairav in a car. Abhimanyu believes that Akshara saved Kairav and chose her family over the love for him. Neil even asked Abhimanyu to hire a detective to search Akshara and Kairav. But Abhimanyu refuses to find her saying that it was Akshu’s decision to leave him.

At present, Maya preps up for the singing event wherein she have to lip sync on Akshu’s voice. She gets nervous while Akshara calm her and makes her understand. Just then, Kunal comes and Maya reveals to him and Akshu that upcoming singing event will happen in India, Jaipur. Akshara and Kunal gets shocked as Birlas and Goenkas also there. Akshara fears if Abhi listens to her voice he will know the truth.
In the upcoming episode, Akshu, Maaya and Abhi will end up at the same event. We might get Abhimanyu-Akshara face-off soon.
