The actress said, “Even before the news came out about Sidharth, I was at the hospital with his younger sister and later went to his place with his mother. In the morning when I heard about it from someone, I couldn’t believe it. I first called Sidharth’s mom and then dialled his number. But no one was picking up the calls which worried me and I went to his building to check. There I got to know and I headed straight to Cooper hospital.”
Aastha was in a state of shock that day and continues to feel numb. The actress said, “I have no words to express how I feel. I am unable to accept it and I still feel that nothing of this sort has happened. I just can’t believe Sidharth is no more. I still feel his presence. It will take time to accept that he has passed away. When I watch his videos online, it puts a smile on my face.”
The actress stayed in touch with Sidharth’s mother all these years. Aastha said, “I have always been in touch with Sidharth’s mother even when he was busy because I didn’t want to distrub him. I will still keep meeting aunty (Sidharth’s mother).”
She further added, “Like I said, I can’t explain in words what I am feeling but I feel all this is delusional, Sidharth is not gone and this isn’t true. I am just not ready to accept it. I think I need some time.”
