As per reports, Poonam Pandey has violated the Coronavirus lockdown rules. The model-actress arrested by police at Mumbai’s Marine Drive, along with her friend. The two was taking a drive without any valid reason or permit. An FIR registered against her and a person accompanying her under sections of the Indian Penal Code.
According to the reports of Mumbai Mirror, it is section 188 (disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant) and section 269 (negligent act likely to spread infection of disease dangerous to life). And while Poonam Pandey and her friend were let go, later on, her car was confiscated by the Mumbai Police.
The report suggests that Poonam and Sam given permission to leave the police station after given a notice. They had travelled all the way from Bandra to Marine Drive. Meanwhile, her car seized by the police.
A police official revealed to ANI, “A case under the National Disaster Management Act has been registered against Poonam Shobnath Pandey at 8 PM by Marine Drive Police Station. Her car has also been seized by the police.”
