The ongoing track of Harshad Chopda-Pranali Rathod starrer Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai revolves around Akshara leaving Abhimanyu after Dr Kunal Khera puts condition that she will give her voice to Maya in return of Abhi’s surgery. While Akshu records songs for Maya, Abhi has become an adrenaline junkie and keeps doing daredevil stunts in competition. The latest episode saw Maya watches the show where Abhimanyu performs stunts. Maya likes Abhimanyu on seeing him for the first time and calls him handsome while Akshara ignores her talks.
Kunal fails to see Abhimanyu on screen and teases Maya seeing another person on TV but Maya tells him that he is not the one she likes while Akshara thinks about Abhi. Further, Abhimanyu wins the competition and a reporter asks Abhi about his wife. Abhi ignores questions while the reporter states that he shouldn’t run away just like his wife ran away. Abhimanyu gets furious and beat the reporter and leaves from there.
Later, Akshara sees TV screen and stands shocked seeing Abhimanyu after one year. Akshara cries seeing Abhi and remembers their happy moments while Kunal too notices Abhi and shuts the TV. He then changes the topic and asks Maya why she send her music to these shows.

Maya reveals to Kunal that upcoming singing event will happen in India, Jaipur. Akshara and Kunal gets shocked as Birlas and Goenkas will also be there. Akshara fears as she cannot face Abhimanyu and tell him the truth. Kunal talks to Akshu about going to India but she refuses to go right now.
In the upcoming episode Akshara will agree to sing for Maya and accompany them to India. Maya gets happy and hugs Akshu as her dream finally will get fulfilled. Other hand, Neil asks Abhi when will he return home but Abhi denies to come as he doesn’t want to be around Akshara’s memories.
Will Maya develops feelings for Abhimanyu?
