Star Plus show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is one of the most loved show on television and getting good TRP numbers. The show is getting quite interesting with each passing episode. The show stars Ayesha Singh, Aishwarya Sharma and Neil Bhatt in lead. The current track of the show revolves around Pakhi trying her best to convince Samrat that she has moved on in life, while problems between Sai and Virat continues to grow. Meanwhile, Sai has decided to shift her college studies to Gadchiroli as she wants to stay away from Virat.
The show is a remake of a popular Bengali daily soap titled ‘Kusum Dola’. In an interaction with India Forums, GHKKPM‘s Creative Director Mr. Siddhartha Vankar was asked whether he feels restricted being creatively involved for a show which is a remake of a popular show, Siddhartha said, “Well, I don’t think that doing a remake limit or binds me. A story is a story. We are not copy-pasting from anywhere, we are adapting the show. Since there are a lot of cultural contexts that changes, it doesn’t bind us in anyway to tell the story. We have our own set of things that we do on the show which are quite satisfying creatively.”
The actor added, “In a larger scheme of things, it really helps us to do a remake, as you know the larger track of the story. It helps you to understand the characters better. It also helps you to make your actors understand their characters and make them act (react) in a certain way that helps to shape the characters better. We also have the ability to remove or reduce things that didn’t work in the story. In short, we have the hindsight which is quite helpful.”
Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is produced by Cockcrow Entertainment, Shaika Films.
